Initial start-up
Do not plug in the spa when empty.
Make sure that the water level is up to the skimmer.
Use tap water only.
Remove the air from the filter drain tube before plugging the portable spa into the
electrical outlet.
Do not interrupt the two to three minute test program.
Portable Spa Maintenance
Change the spa water at least once every three months. (This assumes you are
using
a sanitation that requires this)
Once every six weeks, wash the filter in the dishwasher, or soak it over night in the
filter cleaner liquid. - Please read the instructions carefully before using the filter
cleaner liquid. Nature 2 (yellow) once every four months.
Water Balance
The PH level needs to be between 7.2 and 7.6 but be advised by your sanitation
chemicals.
If necessary, use PH- or PH+ to adjust the level.
Please read the instructions carefully before using PH- or PH+.
Proceed when the correct PH level is obtained.
The chlorine level must be maintained.
Spa Cover
Cover the portable spa when not in use (even when the spa is empty). This is
essential Spa maintenance to prevent heat loss, prevent debris from entering the
Spa and for safety.
Cleaning
Do not use shampoo, detergent, abrasive substances or oil to clean the Spa.
Aromatherapy
Use aromatherapy bags specifically designed for Spas.
Jet Maintenance
When the portable Spa is emptied, turn each jet counter clockwise until you hear a
click. Remove and clean the nozzle. Put the jet back in and turn it clockwise to
properly fix the nozzle. Make sure the jet is turned completely clockwise in order to
obtain maximum flow.
