Your portable Spa will normally arrive within 2 weeks of order and monies clearing
both French and Netherlands banks.
This will give you time to prepare the Spa base.
The portable Spa needs to be laid onto a solid base of your choice.
We recommend a flat level surface such as a 1 piece concrete slab or a pier &
beam constructed deck.
The portable spa will weigh between 1900 lbs and 4900 lbs depending on the model
and jet package. Therefore, a sturdy foundation is most important. Unleveled
surfaces, multiple concrete pads, wood slats, stepping stones and similar products
are used at your own risk and can cause damage to your spa. Damage caused by
an improper foundation will not be covered under warranty.
We recommend a reinforced concrete slab, with 3/8 reinforcement bar on a 16 grid.
Also you will need an electric hook-up 2 metres from the Spa with a dedicated
circuit breaker. This distance allows for any splashing in safety from the Spa.
Be sure the Spa base is solid and level and not likely to subside under the weight.
The Dream series are fully portable when empty.
The Fonteyn Sunbelt ranges may be moved a short distance by two people when
empty.
If your Spa needs to be craned into its base site - you will have to pay for this.
Delivery is charged as extra for the Swimspas only.
